On April 30^th, the chapter held an informational meeting with special speaker Dr. John Walkup, Co-Chair of the Tourette Syndrome Medical Advisory Board and Vice Chair of the Department of Psychiatry and Director, Division of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at Weill Cornell Medical College and New York-Presbyterian Hospital. Dr. Walkup has been involved in a number of large research initiatives relating to TS, adolescent depression and anxiety.   He has received a number of awards for scientific achievement.  He spoke about TS symptoms, drug treatments and Comprehensive Behavioral Intervention for Tics (CBIT) and spent a considerable amount of time answering the questions from an audience consisting of members, medical professionals and others.
